Description

To support the maintenance of electrical systems and equipment within Sasol's operations. The role involves operating electrical devices, collecting field data, performing inspections and repairs, and participating in safety and improvement initiatives to ensure optimum plant productivity and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Apply and maintain safety standards in the working environment
• Perform plant inspections, identify faults, and conduct repairs
• Carry out work according to the planning and provide feedback on progress
• Participate in root cause analyses (RCAs), daily meetings, and toolbox talks
• Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to waste disposal procedures
• Capture accurate work history and feedback to improve maintenance processes
• Attend required training and identify personal development needs
• Support business goals by meeting deadlines and spotting continuous improvement opportunities

Qualifications

• Education:
• Matric/N3 with Mathematics, English, and Physical Science
• CHIETA NQF Level 2 qualification
• Experience: 1 - 2+ years of relevant electrical maintenance experience
• Required Skills (Sasol Competency Framework):
• Technical: Electrical Fundamentals, Electrical Systems, Troubleshooting Technical Issues, Equipment Utilisation, and Analysing Alternatives
• Behavioural: Action Oriented, Ensures Accountability, Manages Complexity, Decision Quality, Courage
